What we collect, and why
What the forms collect. When you submit a form on this site, we store what you typed — your email address and the fields you chose to fill in — together with the date and which page the enquiry came from. We do not store your IP address; a one-way hash of it is kept for abuse prevention only. No analytics cookies are set by these forms.
Why we collect it (lawful basis). We use what you send solely to reply to your enquiry and to prioritise what we build — that is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, for the learner waiting list, your consent when you register a language. We send the learner list one email when the relevant course opens, and nothing else.
Where it lives. Enquiries are stored in our application database, hosted by Render (our hosting provider). Email replies travel over our email provider. Like any small company, we use service providers to operate — they process data on our behalf and are not free to use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it. Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you'd like an enquiry deleted, ask, and we will delete it.
Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for correction, or ask for deletion. Write to us through any form on this site, or reply to any email we have sent you, and we will act on it.
